Scientists use COVID vaccine technology to help prevent HIV

After decades of failed attempts to create an HIV vaccine, scientists are now using the same mRNA technology used to develop COVID-19 shots. The hope is that they can develop a vaccine to prevent HIV-negative people from getting infected.
