Off The Wall: Gardner & Her Masterpieces

WBUR is a proud media sponsor of events and exhibits at The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. This week, guests were treated to an exhibition preview and special reception for the Museum's newest exhibit: Off the Wall: Gardner and Her Masterpieces. 

Featuring 20 highlights from the Museum’s incomparable collection, this once-in-lifetime exhibition provides visitors with direct access to view extraordinary works by artists such as Botticelli, Raphael, and Rembrandt among others.
Taken together, both the masterpieces and the archival material on display allow Museum-goers to better understand both Gardner’s aspirations and her astonishing achievements.
