Andi Brown was WBUR's senior major gifts officer.

Brown had been an avid NPR and WBUR listener practically her entire life. She was thrilled to be part of the development team, helping to sustain and grow WBUR through philanthropy as the station's senior major gifts officer.

She has spent her career developing the resources that enable nonprofit organizations to fulfill their missions in the areas of health care, education, human services and Jewish life. A graduate of Colgate University, Andi feels most alive on foreign soil, chatting with the locals in their native tongues. She loves biking to work from her Brookline home. Outside the office, Andi can frequently be found — knitting needles in hand — eating chocolate.
