There's some controversy about an unusual coaching decision following the Patriots' third loss of the season Sunday.

The Patriots and Jets went to overtime and to start overtime, the Patriots won the coin toss but chose to kick the ball instead of receive it.

The Jets scored a touchdown and the Patriots lost 26-20 without ever touching the ball in overtime.

After the game, ESPN.com reporter Mike Reiss says Patriots coach Bill Belichick did not have a lot to say about the coin toss decision. Reiss joined Morning Edition to share some insights on the call.
