Former Providence Mayor Remembered As A Bundle Of Contradictions

Former mayor of Providence Vincent "Buddy" Cianci died Thursday.

He is remembered as a political bundle of contradictions. He helped lead the redevelopment of Providence. He was a one-time anti-corruption prosecutor, who later lost his job and went to prison for corruption.

As Rhode Island Public Radio's Ian Donnis reports, the judge who sentenced Cianci likened him to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
