The White House on Thursday is outlining details of President Obama's newly-planned trip to Cuba, which is scheduled for next month. He'll become the first sitting president to visit the nation in nearly a century.

For a closer look at the president's trip, Cuban-American Micho Spring — the global chair of the Boston-based public relations firm Weber Shandwick and former deputy mayor of Boston in the Kevin White administration — joined Morning Edition.
