As angst grows among some leaders of the Republican Party about the impact a Donald Trump presidential nomination could have, the party's most recent nominee is ready to offer some advice.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney delivers an address late Thursday morning on the "state of the 2016 presidential race."

For a preview of the address and the impact it could have, longtime Massachusetts Republican strategist John Sivolella, a fellow at the Pioneer Institute and Cognoscenti contributor, joined WBUR Thursday morning.

This segment aired on March 3, 2016.
