Second City Hall Employee Indicted On Conspiracy, Extortion Charges

Once again, the mayor of Boston finds himself responding to questions about corruption in his administration.

A second member of Mayor Marty Walsh's administration has been indicted on extortion charges related to efforts to persuade organizers of a major music festival to employ union workers.

The indictment charges Boston Inter-Government Relations Director Timothy Sullivan of conspiring with the previously indicted director of tourism to make sure union workers were employed.
