Safety has come to the forefront of many runners' minds after the murder of a female jogger in Princeton and reported assaults on women runners in Northborough and Westborough.

Runners are taking precautions to keep running safely. One of those runners is Liz Mason, who lives in Central Massachusetts. She runs with the group Central Mass. Striders and joined Morning Edition to talk about the precautions she and the group have been taking.
