Patriots Season Kicks Off With Narrow Win Against Cardinals

On the road — and with some key players out — the New England Patriots have begun the 2016 season with a narrow 23-21 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

Interim quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 264 yards and had one touchdown in Sunday's game.

ESPN sportswriter Mike Reiss joined Morning Edition from Arizona to talk about the game and the new season.
