Iraqis Wait For A Constitution
After struggling Iraqi lawmakers failed to write a new constitution by Monday's midnight deadline, the Iraqi Parliament has given them an extra week to complete a final draft. The document is designed to bridge the rifts between the country's Kurds and Shiite and Sunni Arabs.
U.S. Representative Stephen Lynch, a ninth district democrat, returned from a two-day trip to Iraq on Saturday. He joined Bob Oakes this morning.
