Police Will Not Face Charges in Snelgrove Death

Boston police officers involved in the death of Victoria Snelgrove will not face criminal charges. The Emerson College student was celebrating the Red Sox pennant victory in October when she was hit in the eye by pepper-spray pellets used by the officers outside Fenway Park.

Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel Conley says poor planning and poor judgment on the part of the officers does not equal criminal conduct. But the officers may still face police department disciplinary action.
