Methamphetamine in Massachusetts, Part One

Addiction to methamphetamine is a major public health problem in parts of the Midwest and west of the country. But up to now, the Northeast has largely been spared. Heroin and cocaine continue to be the illegal drugs of choice in Massachusetts, but in the past three years, methamphetamine use has been gaining a foothold in the state.

In the first of a two-part series on methamphetamine in Massachusetts, Monica Brady-Myerov looks at concerns over the spread of addiction to the drug.
