Victim Seen as Caring, Ambitous

Investigators have not yet identified motives or suspects in the rampage shooting of four men in Dorchester Tuesday night. Police say evidence suggests there was no forced entry into the basement recording studio, and that at least some of those gathered knew the assailant or assailants.

The stepfather of victim Edwin "EJ" Duncan, is suggesting that the killer was jealous of the success of Duncan's hip hop group.

He was in the group Graveside with the two of the other victims.

All four victims were young men were aged 19 to 22 and all graduates from Wakefield High School. They did not fit what police call the "at risk" profile.

Martha Bebinger has been speaking with those who knew Duncan.
