Harvard neurobiologists David Potter and Edwin Furshpan are renowned figures in the field of neuroscience. But over more than 30 years, they've also become known for their success in recruiting women and minorities to the sciences.

Now retired from lab work, Potter and Furshpan are traveling next week to Morehouse College in Atlanta, where they will teach an introductory course in neuroscience. It will be their fourth spring semester at the historically black, all male, college. Ian Gray from WCAI in Woods Hole attended a recent gathering on Cape Cod in their honor.
