Stones Down the Ice

A real clean sweep comes to an end in Lowell this weekend at the close of the men's World Curling Championship. Twelve teams have been competing in the round-robin event this week at the Tsongas Arena, for a spot in the final Sunday.

The field is down to four: Scotland, Canada, the U.S. and Finland. The playoff rounds start today.

The sport has come in from the cold and grown in popularity since the Winter Olympics.
