Documentary Remembers Revels Founder

When John Langstaff, the founder of the Christmas Revels died in December, the organization he started in Cambridge in 1971 had grown far beyond the original production. The show, a mix of song and dance celebrating the Winter Solstice, is now produced in ten cities across the country.

A new documentary about Langstaff's life has its premiere Wednesday at the Capitol Theater in Arlington. It is called "To Drive the Dark Away."

Bob Oakes speaks with the film's director, David Nath.

This program aired on May 17, 2006. The audio for this program is not available.
