House Passes Nurse Staffing Bill

The House has passed a contentious nurse staffing bill that's lingered for a decade on Beacon Hill. It would require the department of public health to regulate the "ideal number" of patients assigned to registered nurses. The House vote came Wednesday after days of protests and closed door meetings.
