Insurance Reform Inches Forward

A barrage of advertising for and against ending state control of auto insurance rates will likely continue, now that some House leaders have proposed a sweeping change. A bill out of committee Monday is the first attempt to reintroduce competition in the auto insurance market since a failed effort almost 30 years ago. But the Senate isn't interested in testing competition again.
