Boston Female Church Official Quits After Ordination

The idea of women as Catholic priests has been debated for decades, but there appears to be a trend where women are being ordained in ceremonies not sanctioned by the Catholic Church.

One women who's done just that is Jean Marie Marchant of Framingham, who recently left her job as director of Healthcare Ministry for the Catholic Archdiocese of Boston. She left the post after revealing to Archbishop Sean O'Malley she was ordained a Catholic priest.
