Hard Road Ahead for Turnpike Authority

The Massachusetts Turnpike Authority Board is meeting today for the first time since the resignation of its Chairman and CEO Matthew Amorello.

Ultimately, Amorello will be replaced by two people. Transportation Secretary John Cogliano will take over as Chairman this morning when he'll hold the first meeting of a board now controlled by Governor Mitt Romney's appointees.

The search for someone to fill the other half of Amorello's job as Turnpike Director is underway.

This program aired on August 16, 2006. The audio for this program is not available.
