Campaign Countdown

If you haven't registered to cast your ballot in the upcoming Democratic Primary, it's too late. The deadline passed on Wednesday and, according to the Secretary of State, voter numbers suggest turnout could be low for the September 19th poll.

Three democrats are vying for their party's nomination in the gubernatorial election: venture capitalist Chris Gabrieli, former US Assistant Attorney General Deval Patrick, and Massachusetts Attorney General Tom Reilly.

Joining us for a look at the last leg of the Primary trail is Tufts University political science professor and author Jeffrey Berry.

This program aired on August 31, 2006. The audio for this program is not available.
