In the first of our series of conversations with the Democratic candidates for Massachusetts Governor, Morning Edition welcomes venture capitalist Chris Gabrieli into the studio.
Mr. Gabrieli has served as Chairman of MassINC, a non-partisan policy think tank, and has served on the boards of a variety organizations in the state including the Boston Foundation and The Initiative for a Competitive Inner City.
He has run for Congress, and was the 2002 Democratic Nominee for lieutenant governor, but has not held elective office. Gabrieli is hoping to change that and take advantage of the short walk to the State House from his Beacon Hill residence where he lives with his wife and five children.
