Iran's Former President at Harvard

At the end of a controversial visit to the U.S., a former Iranian President has condemned the terror attacks of September 11th and said Osama bin Laden used Islam for evil.

Mohammed Khatami was speaking at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government yesterday, where he addressed an audience who'd gained attendance by lottery and were allowed to ask unscripted questions. WBUR's Claudine Ebeid has this report.

This program aired on September 11, 2006. The audio for this program is not available.
