Progesterone Debate

The Food and Drug Administration is expected to decide within the next few weeks whether to approve the first drug aimed at preventing pre-term births. Many experts see the medication, called progesterone, as a major potential advance. But they also disagree on how much evidence is enough to justify its routine use.
