Dispute over Deal for Station Club Owners

The brothers and co-owners of the Station nightclub, where a fire killed 100 people injured more than 200, plan to plead no contest to charges of manslaughter.

But only hours after the plea agreement was leaked to the media, its announcement took an operatic turn. The Rhode Island attorney general is denying that he was ever involved in negotiating this agreement with Michael and Jeffrey Derderian.

The presiding judge is upset about the leak but says the proposed jail sentences will hold. All of this has left survivors and victims' families even more confused and hurt.
