Romney Pessimistic About Republican Wins
Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney told CNN he expects Republicans to lose some gubernatorial seats nationwide on election day, because incumbents are stepping down.
And, when prompted by host Wolf Blitzer, Romney mentioned Massachusetts as one of those states.
A Romney spokesman later said the governor believes his state's gubernatorial race is competitive but that Republican challenger Kerry Healey will prevail over Democrat Deval Patrick.
