In 2005, Senator Ted Kennedy embarked on a campaign fundraising drive designed to intimidate any challenger and avoid a re-election battle. But the Democrat's
$10 million war-chest has not deterred Ken Chase.

The Belmont linguist and historian is the Republican nominee in Tuesday's election for the U.S. Senate seat Kennedy has held for 44 years.
