Curbing Personal Carbon Footprints
Following this week's elections, the shift of power on Capitol Hill and on Beacon Hill is expected to energize the debate over how to curb global warming.
Companies, such as manufacturers and power plants, produce most of the greenhouse gases believed responsible for climate change. Still, about one third of U-S emissions comes from people going about their daily lives.
Recently, a Boston company started a web portal to let individuals counteract those personal contributions. That story now from W-B-U-R's Business and Technology Reporter Curt Nickisch.
