Mass. Housing Market Continues Downward

Despite a slight improvement in the latest national home sales numbers, the Massachusetts housing market saw declines again last month, according to two reports out today.

The Massachusetts Association of Realtors report says single family home sales were down in October, marking the seventh straight month of declines.

A separate report from the Warren Group says the average sale price of a single family home is down about 7 percent from where it was last year.
