The Legacy of Lane Faison

Many of the nation's museum directors, art historians, and art dealers are gathering in Williamstown tomorrow for memorial services to honor their mentor: Professor Lane Faison.

Faison died at the age of 98 last month. His legacy is embodied in the men and women who studied under him at Williams College, many of whom are now leaders in the art world. WBUR's Fred Thys interviewed Lane Faison in 1998 and has this remembrance.

This program aired on December 15, 2006. The audio for this program is not available.
