Bad news for Boston. The city's much-anticipated new school superintendent appears to be quitting before he has even started the job.
Manuel Rivera currently heads the schools in Rochester, New York and was supposed to take over Boston's schools in July. WBUR's Bianca Vazquez Toness has more on the story.
