Property Tax Plan Controversial

Governor Deval Patrick is taking on one of his main campaign pledges, property tax relief. In a proposal unveiled yesterday, Patrick offers tax credits to about 100,000 homeowners.

But his plan is immediately controversial because it would be funded by corporate tax increases. WBUR's Martha Bebinger reports from the Statehouse.
