Health Insurance announcement today

This just out from the Patrick Administration and the Connector...Governor Deval Patrick will be joined today by Administration and Finance Secretary Leslie Kirwan and Commonwealth Health Insurance Connector Authority Executive Director Jon Kingsdale to announce recommendations for Commonwealth Choice health plans that will be available to the public this spring. The press conference will be held at 2 p.m. in Room 157 at the statehouse.

A little background from WBUR...
the "Choice" plans are for individauls who earn more than 30-thousand dollars a year and for couples with a combined income of more than 60-thousand dollars. People who sign up for this coverage will not receive any subsidies. The main issues are how much will the plans cost and will they be required to include prescription drug coverage. Today we will hear the recommendations of the Connector staff. The Connector board discusses Choice plans on Thursday.
