Security Concerns Over Galvin Site

The official web site of Secretary of State William Galvin has information posted that can be used by identity thieves.

An identity theft activist in Virginia called Galvin's office today to request he remove the personal information.

The web site includes information like social security numbers, bank accounts numbers and phone numbers.

Galvin says his office is in the process of removing the sensitive information from the web site, but will leave the site up during the process.

Galvin has been critical of Governor Deval Patrick's campaign committee website, which until recently had personal information about voters.
