NH May Allow Civil Unions

New Hampshire Governor John Lynch says he will sign legislation allowing same sex civil unions.

Lynch's announcement comes a week before the State Senate is slated to vote on a House backed plan to give same sex couples the same rights as married couples.

If the legislation does become law, New Hampshire will be the fourth state to allow same sex civil unions. Massachusetts is the only state which allows same sex marriage.
