MA Firm Moves Into Middle Earth

Massachusetts may be known as a leader in producing top tier computer programmers but online gaming development isn't exactly a major state industry.

Now Westwood-based Turbine Incorporated says it may change that. At midnight Monday, it released "Lord of The Rings" online which Turbine says allows players to walk around in an authentic recreation of JRR Tolkien's Middle Earth.

WBUR's Deborah Becker talks about the new release with Jason Ocampo, an editor with "Gamespot.com."

This program aired on April 24, 2007. The audio for this program is not available.
