Littlefield on Bonds, Cooperstown
With Barry Bonds moving toward breading Henry Aaron's career homerun record, the Baseball Hall of Fame has been wondering out loud whether it might acquire the bat with which Bonds breaks the record, or perhaps the uniform he's wearing on that fateful day.
This week, Bonds, who has stocked a warehouse with memorabilia of his own career, said, "I'm not worried about the hall. I take care of me."
With the first part of that statement, commentator Bill Littlefield concurs.
