Romantic Tales Diverge
You couldn't have two more different takes on romantic love than those in a pair of recently opened productions in Boston: the Tony-winning musical "The Light in the Piazza" at the Colonial Theater and Noel Coward's classic comedy "Present Laughter" at the Huntington Theatre Company.
WBUR critic-at-large Ed Siegel has been to both — and casts his lot with the skeptics.
"The Light in the Piazza" continues at the Colonial Theater through June 9. "Present Laughter" runs through June 17 at the Huntington Theatre company.
This program aired on June 1, 2007. The audio for this program is not available.
