Police Investigate Roxbury Shooting

Boston Police are now downplaying initial reports that last night's fatal shooting of an eight year old Roxbury boy may be gang related.

LaQuarry Jefferson was shot in the abdomen and later died at Boston Medical Center.

Police commissioner Ed Davis says they are investigating reports that armed men forced their way into the apartment and began shooting.
