Sounds of Sweets...Silenced

A signature song of summer is growing faint in many neighborhoods across the commonwealth. Many ice cream trucks that once roamed the roads are now finding a regular spot and staying put...without the traditional tinny music.

In our series of summer postcards, today, WBUR's Martha Bebinger visits 'Sweet Pete.' Most days, you'll find his ice cream truck at Bradley Palmer State Park in Topsfield.
