Cutting School Programs

Students heading back to school in the next few weeks will find fewer teachers, larger classes, cuts in language, music and sports, and higher fees for the programs that remain.

A few districts are closing schools.

Statewide school organizations say up to half the communities in Massachusetts are eliminating some services for students.
