Property Tax Crunch

One of the problems cities and towns are facing is their reliance on property taxes to fund schools and other programs.

Many municipal leaders say they are optimistic about Governor Deval Patrick's plan to help ease that reliance.
But that relief is not guaranteed or immediate.
