Conversation with John McCain

Facing fundraising troubles and plummeting popularity, Arizona Senator John McCain continues to fight for every possible vote. To that end, he's back in New Hampshire for a two-day campaign swing.

Polls there show support for the Republican contender is down from 27 percent in April to 12 percent just last month.

In our occasional series of conversations with the presidential candidates, WBUR's Bob Oakes hit the road with John McCain as he traveled between Manchester and Concord yesterday.

This program aired on September 5, 2007. The audio for this program is not available.
