Patrick Outlines 'MassTrans' Plan

The Patrick administration says it could save hundreds of millions of dollars over the next 20 years with a plan to consolidate transportation agencies under one new authority.

The proposal is designed as a first step towards closing a $20 billion shortfall in funding for the state's road and bridge maintenance and repairs. WBUR's Martha Bebinger reports on details and reaction to the plan.
