The Rockies' home park, Coors Field has been called a pitcher's purgatory, the place where earned run averages go to die, where light-hitting shortstops earn lucrative contracts and power hitters surprise even themselves.

But times have changed at Coors, and reporter Keith O'Brien explains why the humidor is to blame.
