Sports Preview: Pats & Celts

It's an embarrassment of riches for New England sports fans.

Just a few days after the Red Sox won their second World Series in four seasons, fans can see the 6-5/7-4 Bruins take on the Ottawa Senators in a home-and-home series this weekend, or the New England Revolution in the soccer playoffs against the Red Bulls tomorrow, or number-two ranked Boston College football Eagles host Florida State tomorrow night.

Meanwhile, on Sunday the Patriots face off against the Colts in what some are saying is a mid-season Super Bowl, and tonight, the re-made Celtics open their season against the Washington Wizards at the Garden.

This morning, WBUR's Bob Oakes talks with two Boston Globe reporters on the sports beat. First, Mike Reiss who covers the Patriots and then Shira Springer, who writes about the Celtics, the NBA, and investigative sports stories.
