Celtics Still Perfect
The Celtics are off to their best start in 20 years. They improved their record to 6-0, after a 101-86 win over the Pacers in Indianapolis last night.
Paul Pierce pumped in a game-high 31 points to go with 11 rebounds and six assists as the Celtics posted their sixth straight victory with a 101-86 road win against the Pacers on Tuesday.
Boston, which led most of the way, took the lead for good when Pierce hit a pair of free throws with 3:06 left in the third quarter — giving the C's a 40-38 advantage.
Pierce scored seven points in the final quarter to help preserve the victory. Kevin Garnett added 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Ray Allen had 17 points.
And it's a quick turnaround for the Celts. They host the New Jersey Nets tonight.
