Democrats Seek Unity

During a speech in Washington tomorrow, Senator Hillary Clinton is expected to endorse Senator Barack Obama. But will the Democratic Party be able to unify after the occasionally bitter primary contest between the two?

That's a question we're going to examine in our own backyard, with two pledged delegates who are attending the State Democratic Convention in Lowell tomorrow.

They are Clinton-backer and Suffolk County Sheriff, Andrea Cabral, and Obama-supporter and State Representative, David Paul Linsky.

WBUR's Bob Oakes begins by asking what they hope to hear in Clinton's upcoming speech.

This program aired on June 6, 2008. The audio for this program is not available.
