Championship a Milestone for Players

The duck boats are getting ready to roll.

The Boston Celtics victory parade gets moving at 11 this morning. The so-called "Rolling Rally" starts at Boston Garden, and moves through the city to end a Copley square.

WBUR's Bob Oakers spoke about the championship and what it means for the franchise with Bob Ryan, sports columnist for the Boston Globe.

Before the series even began, he predicted the Celts would win in six games, and that the victory parade would be this morning.

This program aired on June 19, 2008. The audio for this program is not available.
